The University of North Texas (UNT) indoor drumline from Denton - Texas has announced that they will be travelling to Europe in March 2011 to Europe to represent the US indoor percussion community in both clinics and performances. The Kidsgrove Scouts are the new DCUK Cchampions in both the Open Class and Junior Class. In the Open Class Kidsgrove and The Company tied (both 81.85), however the DCUK rules include a tie breaker: the corps with the highest score on Effect wins.

The Kidsgrove Scouts have won the DCUK Open Class (Premier Class) Prelims. With their show 'The Heist of the Century' they scores 81.25. The DCUK British Drum Corps Championships are being held today in Mansfield.
