Tomorrow we will publish a list of online photo galleries of the DCE European Championships 2007. A lot of photos have been published already, and we'd like to make a complete list of them.

Senators, DrumSpirit and Jong Jubal are the DCE champions of 2007. Thousands of drum corps enthusiasts enjoyed the climax of the European drum corps competition at Rotterdam's Sparta Stadium yesterday.

On Friday evening in the heart of Rotterdam, Drum Corps Europe will be selling tickets for the DCE European Championships. During the free event Drum Corps Rocks the Town a DCE stand will be set up opposite the Beurs-WTC where tickets for the Championships can be purchased. A minor change has also been made to the program: Distant Thunder will take the place of Northern Star.

This year, a special 'High Front Ensemble' prize will again be awarded to the corps with the best pit at this year's DCE Championships. This special award was established last year by the parents of Barry Boer Rookuiszen, a gifted pit musician, arranger and instructor who died from diabetes in February 2006.

In a few days it will again be time for the DCE Championships 2007. Many fans and participants are already experiencing sleepless nights as the European title contest promises to be more exciting than ever. Drum Corps Europe has again filmed a commercial this year to draw attention to the DCE Championships. Starting from today, the advert, which can also be viewed online, will be shown no less than twelve times a day on TV Rijnmond.

At a well-attended and relaxed 'Survivors Day' following the completion of their 23rd successive summer season, Concord Drum and Bugle Corps outlined some of their plans for the forthcoming winter season.

Dynasty will again be sponsoring Drum Corps Europe. After a one-year 'pause', the major producer of brass and percussion instruments has decided to support the DCE Championships.

The Inbhear Mór Marchers are from Arklow, Co.Wicklow in the Republic of Ireland. The band were originally established in 1992 and made their first competitive appearance in 1994. Throughout the 90's, the band enjoyed great success on the Irish and International band scenes.

Ann Legon has joined the Drum Corps Europe team as the new Judges Administrator. Ann will be coordinating the judges' panels for the DCE certified events and the DCE Championships, organising the training days/judges meetings, and the central contact for all judges and external parties.

Stafford Lancers have unveiled their brand new website. Lancers Productions and Noise Design have been working closely over the last few months to develop an original fresh looking corporate site which is both easy to navigate and informative.

The Kidsgrove Scouts have won the DCUK International Open Class title at the 2007 British Drum Corps Championships, yesterday in Burton on Trent. The corps scored a total of 88.96, 0.1 point ahead of The Senators.

A total of 13 judges will be judging at the DCE Championships 2007. They are subdivided into two teams. One team will be responsible for the Open Class in Rotterdam, the other team will be judging the Percussion Class and Cadet Class. Here are the compositions of the two judging panels.

At this year's DCE Championships an Irish corps will also be taking part. Inbhear Mor Marchers from Arklow will perform an exhibition show after the Percussion Class Finals.

Drum Corps Europe has decided to change the Olympic Retreat. In the afternoon as well as in the evening, the corps will be dismissed after presentation of the prizes.

Millennium, 6th Hove Scouts, Jong Avalance, Northern Star and Black Knights will 'rock' Rotterdam on the eve of the DCE Championships. These corps will be taking part in the second edition of Drum Corps Rocks the Town. On Friday 28th September, this event will once again be held on the steps of the World Trade Center.

The time table for the DCE Championships 2007 (Rotterdam, September 29th) has been published on the Drum Corps Europe website. The performances will start at 10.00 in the morning.

The borough of Rotterdam Noord has granted permission to Drum Corps Europe to use the Roel Langerakpark as a rehearsal location for the DCE Championships. The park, which is within walking distance of the Sparta Stadium, was used frequently by corps last year for rehearsals and warming up.

Southern Aurora and Legion Star have confirmed that the partnership agreed in 2007 will continue throughout 2008. Having come through the teething problems of a mid season union and the organisational time issues this has created, it is felt that another year is required to allow the project to reach its full potential and to explore new ideas.

Arklow, County Wicklow in the Irish Republic was the setting for the 2007 IMBA Championships, which saw 7 bands in two classes of competition. Festivities had got of to a great start on the Saturday night with a number of bands parading through the town and performing their shows in the town centre.

The Reading Buccaneers completed their 3rd consecutive undefeated season tonight by winning the Open Class title with a score of 98.313, just a few tenths shy of the all-time DCA record high score. The Sunrisers captured the Class A crown scoring 83.988, moving up from second place in prelims.

Revolution Show Corps have recently returned from a short tour of Belgium. Traveling via Dover to Bruges after a 12.30am start the corps arrived Thursday afternoon. After a quick unpack at their base the Europa Youth Hostel, the band headed to the local brewery for a guided tour and light refreshments.

The Blue Lions Drum & Bugle Corps from France is pleased to annouce that they start working on their first USA Tour in 2009. Next year, the Blue Lions hope to participate in the Drum Corps France and Drum Corps Europe competitions next year.

Drum Corps Europe is offering its SMS Service for the second consecutive year. Register for the SMS Service to receive the scores on your mobile phone during the DCE Championships at practically the same time they are announced in the stadium. Once again, the service will be free of charge this year.

In an interview with the German drum corps portal Drum Corps Café, corps director George Hopkins from The Cadets said that he would like to let the audience decide if they want a corps to do an instant encore performance or not.

Premier Percussion would like to congratulate the 6th Hove Scouts on taking first place at the BYBA 'Academy Brass' Show which took place in Barnsley - West Yorkshire. 6th Hove Scouts were the first drum corps to take to the field in European competition using Premiers new 'Revolution' Series drums.

Yesterday, a draw has determined the order of performances for the DCE Open Class prelims in Rotterdam. The draw was held in the Sparta Rotterdam's press centre and was 'webcasted' through the DCE website.

The draw for the DCE Championships Open Class prelims will take place this afternoon at the Sparta Stadium in Rotterdam. The draw will be held from 2.00 pm (local time) onwards in Sparta's press room at 'The Castle', and will be 'webcasted' via the internet.

The Severn Vale Marching Band Championships will move to temporary venue. In terms of the recent flooding, Upton on Severn, the original home of the Severn Vale Marching Band Championships, was one of the worst hit areas, and one point the sports field which is hired for the BYBA contest was under 5 feet of water.
