Senators, DrumSpirit and Jong Jubal are the DCE champions of 2007. Thousands of drum corps enthusiasts enjoyed the climax of the European drum corps competition at Rotterdam's Sparta Stadium yesterday.
On Friday evening in the heart of Rotterdam, Drum Corps Europe will be selling tickets for the DCE European Championships. During the free event Drum Corps Rocks the Town a DCE stand will be set up opposite the Beurs-WTC where tickets for the Championships can be purchased. The Inbhear Mór Marchers are from Arklow, Co.Wicklow in the Republic of Ireland. The band were originally established in 1992 and made their first competitive appearance in 1994. Throughout the 90's, the band enjoyed great success on the Irish and International band scenes.

The borough of Rotterdam Noord has granted permission to Drum Corps Europe to use the Roel Langerakpark as a rehearsal location for the DCE Championships. The park, which is within walking distance of the Sparta Stadium, was used frequently by corps last year for rehearsals and warming up.

The Severn Vale Marching Band Championships will move to temporary venue. In terms of the recent flooding, Upton on Severn, the original home of the Severn Vale Marching Band Championships, was one of the worst hit areas, and one point the sports field which is hired for the BYBA contest was under 5 feet of water.
