The new generation of Inbhear Mór Marchers were established in 2002 and over the past 4 years this 40 member band have enjoyed great success taking part in major competitive and festival events throughout Ireland and Europe. In September 2006 the band had the honour of representing Ireland in the Disney Parade at the Disneyland Resort in Paris.

2007 marks the 15th Birthday of the Inbhear Mór Marchers and this year has also marked the bands most successful season in their 15 year history.  The band have just completed a full undefeated season in the Division 2 Class, winning both the All Ireland Parade Championships in April and the All Ireland (Field Show) Championships in September.

This year's field production features the music from the Georges Bizet Opera 'Carmen'.  The show which will be performed by 36 marching members features the pieces 'Habanera', 'The Flower Song' and 'Toreadors March'.  The Band Director is Mary Kirwan and the Music & Show Director is Ã?isin Molloy.

The members and staff of the band would like to extend warm thanks to DCE for the opportunity to close out the 2007 season by performing at the 2007 Championships in Rotterdam.
