This year's FBF National Championships was held in the Sandton Sport Stadium. The venue was different from last year's, but the intimacy of the stadium created a very warm atmosphere (literally and figuratively). A report by Maarten Deschacht and Bart Tienpont.

The Field Band Foundation (FBF) of South Africa held its Band Championships on 6th October, and the Blue Devils added to the festivities with a donation of 48 brass instruments.
