100 Drum Corps Europe promo posters in Rotterdam
As from today, it will be virtually impossible for people in Rotterdam to escape from the DCE Championships. Huge DCE posters (A0 size) will be displayed on no less than one hundred billboards along important (access) roads in the city.
Last year, DCE hired five poster columns on which to paste posters. This year will see a considerable increase in visibility. "I think it's fantastic that we have managed to achieve this", says DCE PR Manager Dennis Naaktgeboren. "Every drum corps enthusiast has already had 29th September noted in their diaries for months now, but during the next two weeks local people will also be able to learn about the fantastic event scheduled to take place on that date in the Sparta Stadium."
The design of the DCE Championships 2007 poster differs from the posters of previous years. The colour guard photo merely contains the snappy slogan 'Music! Show! Rhythm!' together with the URL of the DCE website.
"In previous years we always wanted to add a lot of information to the poster", says Naaktgeboren. "This year we are changing tack and are mainly trying to attract attention in the hope that people will then take a look at the website and become interested. I think this will certainly work with this splendid photo from Drumcorpsmedia.com."
