The first day of the ticket sale for the DCE Championships 2006 has been very succesful. Already 200 tickets have been ordered in the DCE webshop. This is a record setting number for Drum Corps Europe.
For 2006 and beyond, the Juliana Drum & Bugle Corps hornline will use the AirMax Breather. The Breather is a device, intended to improve breathing for horn players, that offers different resistance levels in order to enlarge lung capacity and allow each performer to play better within the ensemble.

Music City Mystique has topped the WGI Independent Marching World Class during the WGI World Championships in Dayton - Ohio. The ensemble scored 96.20 in Finals. The silver medal went to Rhythm X, they scored 95.75.

Allegiance Elite has decided not to participate in a DCI tour for 2006. With a new style of show, the corps will be doing a theatre-style show that will be performed indoors and out throughout Alberta.
The Troopers have been preliminarily approved to rejoin the ranks of DCI in full Division I competition for the 2007 competitive season. Final approval is expected later this year when the full DCI board meets to vote on the matter.
