FB no longer a drum & bugle corps

The Federatieband is abandoning the idea of being a drum & bugle corps. The corps is once again positioning itself as a 'corps style marching band', a style in which FB was conducted up until a few years ago. There will be no shows in the near future.

After successfully mobilizing thousands of fans to cast votes of support using the popular 'Facebook' social networking phenomenon, Carolina Crown, Cavaliers, Colts and Phantom Regiment have each received $25,000 grants in an innovative philanthropic program sponsored by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation. The four groups now qualify for a chance at $1 million.


Distant Thunder and Equinox join forces: Nexus

The beta version of the DCE iPhone app, which was available from September 2009 until last week, proved popular. The app, which provides the most recent drum corps news stories, was downloaded 300 times in total. This was confirmed by the developer of the application.

Dagenham Crusaders 2010: 'Back to the Future'

The new programme of the Dagenham Crusaders will be based around 'Back to the Future'. It will however not be related to the film or its music score. Pacemakers join Dynasty family

Having converted their brass line to Dynasty 'B' flat Bugles in December 2007, The Pacemakers have just taken delivery of a complete set of customised marching percussion. This completes the transition of all their marching percussion to Dynasty.
