Register for DCE 2010 by Monday
The enrolment period for the DCE European Championships 2010 is almost over. Drum corps can register for the European Championships until Monday.
For years now, November has been the month in which corps can register themselves for the DCE Championships of the upcoming year. The reason for starting so early is to determine as quickly as possible which corps will participate. On December 9th, the corps which have registered but have not been placed automatically are informed whether they are eligible for a 'wildcard' and can then start their logistical preparations. Especially corps coming from far need time to prepare.
Open Class finalists and the top three of the Cadet Class automatically gain a place in next year's Championchips. The remaining 22 places are divided using 'wildcards'. Among other things, corps can win a wildcard based on previous results, country and the class in which they register. If more corps register than there are places available, a waiting list is produced.
The full entry list will be published the DCE website on December 15th.
