New WGUK Board elected
Following the nomination process, that took place in the weeks leading up to the 2009 WGUK Championships, the elections to the Winterguard United Kingdom Board took place during the day at The Brentwood Centre on Saturday 4th April.
The new board consists of the following members: Mark Gutteridge (re-elected as chairman), Veronica Hope (re-elected at deputy chairman), Martin Ibbs (re-elected as a board member), Mark Nicholson (elected as a board member), and Dave Parris (re-elected as a board member). The new board of WGUK has re-appointed Jason Oates as the Judging Caption Head/ Co-ordinator.
The WGUK board will be meeting shortly to discuss plans for the 2010 season and also the continuation of the judge training that commenced in 2008 and have already allocated the weekend of 9th and 10th May for an event which will be open to both judges and instructors. Full details of this will be announced shortly.
