DCE European Championships 2010 corps line-up
Drum Corps Europe has announced the participants for the 2010 DCE European Championships. Besides the top ten from the last Championships, some new top corps will also enter the European competition.
There is so much interest in the DCE European Championships that DCE has had to place several corps on a waiting list. This year's top ten Open Class corps were automatically placed and have all signed up again this year.
In addition, on Saturday 25th September 2010, there will be no less than six debutants. In the Open Class there are the top Dutch corps Showband Marum and Con Spirito. The UK delivers three new power houses: Trinity, the Staffordshire Knights and the Dagenham Crusaders, who will make their debut in the competition. The Belgian Calypso is back in the race for the European title after a year absence. Other Championship places were awarded to Besana and Heartliner.
The Cadet Class will finally have an international touch again next year. Besides last year's top three (Jong Jubal, Jong Beatrix and Johan Friso) the French Kadoudal also make their DCE debut. DCE wishes all participants the best of luck with their preparations for the new season.
