Belgian show competition this Sunday
The Belgian music organisation Vlamo will hold its annual indoor championships for marching percussion ensembles and show corps. Nine percussion units and six show corps will enter the contest.
This year's contest will be the most successful edition with bands from four Belgian areas (Limburg, Antwerp, East- and West-Flanders.) and from The Netherlands. Sint Martinus from Oordegem and The Beverly Drumband from Roeselare/Beveren will enter the Star Division. Willen is Kunnen from oostende and Calypso from Zwevegem have registered for the Championship Division.
The event will take place in event centre De Schelp, Menenstraat 22 in Wevelgem - Belgium. Admission fee is 5 euros per person. The full schedule can be found at www.vlamo.be (Dutch).
