Kidsgrove Scouts perform at Centenary Parade
In order to celebrate 100 years of scouting, the Kidsgrove Scouts 'Through the Year's Band' will lead the Centenary Parade to be held on Sunday 22nd April 2007. They are inviting members from all eras of the organisations history to take part in the parade.
Members from the present drum corps will meet and perform with members from the 1972 National Championship Scout & Guide Band. Members from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s will be present in what promises to be a great experience for all. Any past members who wish to be a part of the 'one off performance' need to contact either Rob, John or Dave Swindells.
There will be a rehearsal on the 17th April to prepare for the performance, however if members cannot make this then they are more than welcome to turn up on the day. The Kidsgrove Scouts are calling all past and present members of the corps to come and perform.
