Distant Thunder takes Division I at BYBA show
Distant Thunder topped Divison 1 at the Colchester BYBA show last Sunday with a score of 648 points, and taking High Brass, General Visual Effect, General Music Effect and Drill and Deportment. 6th Hove Scouts were second with a score of 637 points and took High Percussion. Drill and Deportment. 6th Hove Scouts were second with a score of 637
points and took High Percussion.
The competition was held in almost perfect conditions and included all
divisons within BYBA seeing, 4th Uckfield Scouts winning Division 4,
Phantom Knights winning Division 3, Trinity School Showband winning
Division 2 and Upton Youth Band Cadets taking the Cadet Class. 18 Corps
entered the contest.
