Northern Star announces its 2006 production 'Time'
Northern Star Drum & Bugle Corps from Leeds has announced its 2006 production. The show is called 'Time'. Northern Star will musically and visually portray various elements of time - 'Time Motifs', 'Vertical Momentum', 'Persistence of Memory', and 'Rhythmic Time'.
The program contains four parts, each with a distinct approach, but all woven together by a common thread. Music pieces include 'Reflections of the Earth' and 'Chaos' (Gavin Greenway) and 'New World' from 'Dancer in the Dark'. Star's creative team promises a unique production that will break new grounds and give Northern Star the opportunity to become more competitive than ever before.
The staff team includes Mark Pickles (programme co-ordinator), David Haw (visual section head and visual designer) and Craig Sheratt (visual designer), Nick Emmett (percussion section head), Phil Collins (brass section head), and Tina Burke (guard section head).
