DCN Finals in Dordrecht through 2009
The Drum Corps Netherlands Championships will be held in the FC Dordrecht stadium the next three years. DCN chairman Kees Bourquin and FC Dordrecht president Ad Heijsman signed a multi-year contract last Friday during a press conference at the stadium.
Drum Corps Netherlands are happy with the agreement. "Thanks to the multi-year contract, we don't have to look after a new venue each year. The corps and the drum corps fans now know that Dordrecht is the 'place to be' for the next three years", says chairman Bourquin. "And of course Dordrecht is a real drum corps city with three drum corps: Jubal, Jong Jubal and DIO."
The 2007 Drum Corps Netherlands Finals event will be held on Saturday, September 8th.
