European Crossmen alumni reunion at DCE
During the DCE Championships in Kerkrade - The Netherlands, a reunion for European Crossmen alumni will be held in front of the Parkstad Limburg Stadium. Nicolai Esposito has taken the initiative for the reunion, and calls all European Crossmen alumni to come to Kerkrade. A stand will be set up in front of the stadium after the Premier Class Prelims for about 45 minutes. Nicolai Esposito is looking forward to meeting his fellow Crossmen members: "Bring with you your historical Crossmen souvenirs, your member jacket and your Crossmen proud. It will be amazing to meet each other."
With the approvation of the Crossmen Corps Director Fred Morrison, Esposito will organise a fundrasing to buy a new Long Ranger for the corps. The cost is about $ 2500 (â?¬ 2000). At the end of the reunion the donations will be counted and communicated with Morrison.
"I'm really excited to organize a reunion of the European Alumni of the Crossmen", Nicolai Esposito said. "It will be the first European reunion in 38 years of history of our corps, and definitely the first DCI European Alumni reunion in the history of DCE."
"I hope it will be the first of a long series for the European Crossmen, and also an example for the European Alumni of the other corps. What we want to promote is the friendship between us, inside and outside our Crossmen family, because we are part of this one althought we're also part of other european's corps families, from several different nations."
