More participants for IPE Individuals
Fourteen drummers have registered for the European Individuals & Ensembles of Indoor Percussion Europe on Sunday 8th April. That is more than double the number that entered last year. This is the first time that IPE is holding the Individuals & Ensembles on the day of its Championships. The solo competition used to be scheduled at the start of the season. Last year, that only brought us six soloists. The move to the Finals day seems to be a positive change for the organisation, because the number of participants has increased to fourteen.
There are eight participants for the Snare Drum category, five for Marimba, and one group is represented for Percussion Ensemble. Those who have tickets for the IPE Championships may attend I&E for free.
