Beatrix not going to the US in 2012

Due to reasons including changes in the staff team, the administration of the corps believes it would not be sensible to allow the planned tour to go ahead. The board announced that it is aware that this decision is a setback for a number of members. "There have been numerous changes and new staff members this year, and this group will need time to grow into a team with a strong bond," Beatrix states in a press release. "From the corps's own experience, and we have also witnessed this at other corps, the instruction team is the key to a successful tour."
Currently, the corps is exploring the possibility of organising a European tour in the summer 2012, combining competitions, commercial performances, rehearsals and sight-seeing. Beatrix has already communicated with contacts in various countries. This European tour will be an important test to see whether the association is ready for a tour to DCI.
