DCE Symposium '2005 KICK OFF' during Mega Clinic
Drum Corps Europe will hold a '2005 KICK OFF' Symposium on April 9, during the yearly Mega Clinic in Middelburg (southern part of The Netherlands, not far from the Belgian border). Everyone who is interested is invited to attend the symposium, it's free of charge.
In 2004, the first DCE Symposium was very successful. Although the symposium isn't the place where decisions are made, it's an event where drum corps people gather and exchange ideas about the European drum corps future. During the symposium, the DCE management will present developments for the upcoming season and the following years (these details are also published on the DCE website).
The symposium also includes workshops. One of the workshops is for corps that are new to the DCE competition (and corps that are thinking of competing in the near future). Other workshops will focus on public relations, and the DCE Competition Manual.
Detailed information will follow. Drum Corps Europe will send invitations to all corps that are listed in the DCE database. The symposium will start at 2.00 PM local time. Admission is free. Please note that visiting the Mega Clinic sessions (held in the same building) is not free of charge. If you want to visit the Mega Clinic, there is an admission fee of 5 euros.
