DCE Certified Show in Italy
This year, Italy will have a Certified DCE Show. The large show event on 4th July in San Felice Sul Panaro will be judged by the DCE panel, based on the DCE Competition Manual. The scores in San Felice Sul Panaro can be compared to all other DCE Certified Shows in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany. The competition is part of the well-known Quando La Banda Passo event.
Discussions on the DCE certification were recently completed successfully. DCE Chairman Marcel Matthijsse is pleased with the agreement. "We have noticed how passionate the Italian organisation is about the certification and cooperation with Drum Corps Europe", Matthijsse said. "We hope the competition will be a great success and are looking forward to the show."
"We are honored to share the same system and are happy to promote this kind of activity in our country", commented Agostino Molinari and the musical association of Besana Brianza.
This year a total of fifteen competitions will be held in five countries, based on the DCE Competition Manual and judged by the DCE panel.
