Jubal buys its own clubhouse
Jubal from Dordrecht is the proud owner of the Jubal Music Centre. Having rented for 14 years, they have now completed the purchase of the property. An extensive renovation is to follow.
In 2005, the first steps were taken to acquire the property. The association, along with the community, has searched for years for suitable circumstances and conditions under which the property could be transferred. In 2008 the process accelerated and two advisory committees became involved in the acquisition and financing.
Tenants and members of the Jubal Music Centre are unlikely to notice the change from rental to ownership. However, a large-scale renovation is planned. The entrance hall will be upgraded significantly, the roof will be replaced, the exterior walls will be renovated and the plumbing will be replaced in its entirety.
