Unik Star announces 'Dark Illusion' show
The staff of Unik Star Percussion Ensemble from Hellemmes - France has announced the title of their new show 2008: 'Dark Illusion'. This new program, inspired on horror, is composed of dark ballads and the famous music from 'The Exoscist'. The show will be presented at the Color Guard Netherlands and WGI Regional competitions in The Netherlands. For this 2008 season, Erwin van Gemert, Bruce Vrancken and Robin Bogert have been chosen to arrange the entire program. Pierre Lignée (student at the grand conservatory in Paris) will visit the corps on a regular basis for the front ensemble, to improve keyboard technique.
Percussion Caption Head Benoît Sueur from Unik Star said: "All the drumline and front ensemble members have been prepared for this new step. We organise many camps and clinics to improve our skills. We know that the French audience is waiting for our 2008 show and we are sure that this new program will please them."
