Spirit of Coventry presents 'A Night at the West End'
Spirit of Coventry has presented their first show production: 'A Night at the West End'. Music pieces include several pieces from hit musicals. The corps was founded earlier this year.
The opener, 'I Dreamed a Dream' is taken from les Miserables, written by Cameron Mackintosh. 'Luck Be a Lady'(Frank Loesser) is a swing number from the musical Guys and Dolls. The ballad will be 'Sun & Moon' from Miss Saigon. 'Magical Mr. Mistofelees' (Cats - Andrew Lloyd Webber) will feature many brass solos and duets.
'Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again' is taken from another musical by Andrew Lloud Webber: Phantom of the Opera, probably featuring Spirit's very own Phantom. The closer will be 'Riverdance', written by Bill Whelan.
