No distinction between DCA classes in the prelims
Twenty-two corps will battle it out for the title of 2007 DCA World Champion on Saturday, September 1 in Rochester, NY in the preliminary round, hoping to secure a spot in the finals the next evening. This year, there is no distintinction between A Class and Open Class in the prelims.
All 22 corps will go head to head. The corps with the tien highest scores will move on to the Open Class Finals. Of the remaining corps, the three with the next highest scores will move on to the A-Class finals, if they are eligible.
In order to be eligible for A Class, a corps must have 35-65 performing members, and have declared their intention to compete for the Class A title by June 1st. The complete line-up can be found on the DCA website.
