Caballeros to take part in DCN contest
Drum Corps Netherlands has managed to entice a special guest participant for the new season. On 23rd June, the Caballeros will be coming to DCN's second contest. The American drum & bugle corps from Hawthorne - New Jersey, reached fourth place during the recent DCA Championships.
The corps, whose members include former members of the Madison Scouts and Cadets, is a favourite with the public and their shows are often full of Latin influences. The 'Cabs' had already announced a European tour between 21st June and 2nd July to take in Belgium, Germany and France. The Netherlands has now been added to the list.
Drum Corps Netherlands is delighted that the Caballeros want to perform to Dutch drum corps fans during a DCN contest. "When we heard they were coming, we really wanted them to take part", says DCN Chairman Kees Bourquin. "They are a firm favourite with the public and will undoubtedly have our audience standing on their seats."
