DCI moves DeKalb regional show to Lisle
Drum Corps International has added Lisle - Illinois, a Western suburb of Chicago, to this year's calendar, replacing DeKalb - Illionois. While DeKalb certainly is a great location for drum corps events, Lisle will prove to accommodate Chicago-area drum corps fans who might not make the long trek to DeKalb on a Sunday night.
Likewise, Drum Corps International is eager to strike up a relationship with Benedictine University, who will host the event. Benedictine's brand-new athletic facility will put the fans closer to the field, in a very intimate setting. Finally, Drum Corps International is anticipating the cultivation of tons of local support in the Lisle area.
