Championships announced on advertising columns
Two weeks before the start of the DCE European Championships in Rotterdam, the event will be announced on large advertising columns in the city. These columns stand at five busy locations in and around the city centre. Two weeks before the start of the DCE European Championships in

the city. These columns stand at five busy locations in and around the
city centre.
The advertising columns are at least three metres tall and have a
circumference greater than four metres. On 11th September, they will be
plastered with large posters of the DCE Championships. The A0-sized
posters will be displayed three high, allowing each advertising column
to display fifteen posters around its complete circumference.
"The aim of this advertising is to attract the locals", explains PR
Manager Dennis Naaktgeboren. "All the corps teams arrive with their own
supporters, which we are naturally delighted with, but we would also
like to see spectators from Rotterdam coming to the stadium; people who
aren't yet
familiar with drum corps."
The DCE advertisements will remain on the columns until the day of the DCE Championships.
