Two German corps plan joint venture
On 11th and 12th February, three bands met at the coast of the North-Sea over the weekend for rehearsal. The German groups Seadogs Drum & Mallet Corps from Brookmerland and the Music Corps of the fire brigade Esens are planning a musical cooperation. Instructors of the Blue Diamonds Drum & Bugle Corps helped by sending some instructors.
The training was successful and the musicians had a lot of fun. Pieces like 'F-Tuning', 'Louie Louie' and more were part of the musical rehearsal. The Blue Diamonds visited the Seadogs of the 6th time, and they are helping the Seadogs from the beginning.
The joint venture between the two corps is still in the trial stage, but things are looking very good. This weekend was the third time they came together. Klaus J. Kühne, webmaster of Blue Diamonds Drum & Bugle Corps and photographer, sent some rehearsal pictures of the event.
