2006 National Marching Youth Music Week
To build on the success of our first national week in 2005, The British Federation of Yout Marching Band Organisations (BFYMBO) are again asking bands throughout the UK to 'throw open' their rehearsal doors and invite local young people to visit.
Additionally, bands may be able to arange to visit local schools and other community groups to provide workshops or extra performances. Last year, the National Marching Youth Music Week was a big success. Almost every band in the United Kingdom that took part in the week recruited new members.
The second edition will take place from June 24th to July 2nd. More information will be available to all corps by April. For further information please visit www.marchingbands.org.uk.
