6th Hove 2006: 'The Way of the Warroir'
Drawing its inspiration from the films such as 'The Last Samurai', 'House of the Flying Draggers' and 'The Seven Samurai', 6th Hove will take the audience on a journey of enlightment, adventure and passion. Their new show is called 'Bushido: The Way of the Warrior'.
There are seven essential principles that inspire the music of the 2006 production:
'Gi' (the right decision, the right attitude, the truth)
'Yu' (bravely tinged with heroism)
'Jin' (universal love, benevolence toward mankind, compassion)
'Rei' (right action, courtesy, respect)
'Makoto' (utter sincerity, truthfulness)
'Meleyo' (honor and glory)
'Chugo' (devotion, loyality)
A press release of 6th Hove says: "We won't be setting aside our philosophies to entertain and enjoy, and we won't be neglecting our audience. This isn't a journey of self indulgence, it's a journey of self discovery."
