Judge saves Finals day for snare drummer Carolina Crown
For a little while, it looked like a disaster scene was happening for the snare drummer Ryan Hall of Carolina Crown when his instrument broke off and fell to the ground during the DCI Finals. Percussion judge Allan Kristensen saved the day for the drummer.
For a little while, it looked like a disaster scene was happening for the snare drummer Ryan Hall of Carolina Crown when his instrument broke off and fell to the ground during the DCI Finals. Percussion judge Allan Kristensen saved the day for the drummer.
Shortly after a drum feature in the show, the snare player saw his instrument break off. A quad player barely missed the fallen instrument and the snare ended up in front of percussion judge Allan Kristensen. He did not hesitate, as he picked up the drum and took a detour, running around the quad line to the snare line that had now moved to the rear of the field. The snare drummer could then continue his show with his instrument.
