Drum Corps Midwest is back
After a difficult period, Drum Corps Midwest is back. On July 10, DCM organized its annual Championships again in Dekalb, with 12 corps in competition and 2 corps in exhibition.
DCM chairman Brent Turner is a happy man. The DCM Championships 2004 became a big success. "The corps performances were all quite outstanding. DCM has positioned itself to entertain new, present and experienced drum corps fans alike", Turner said. Division I and II both featured only one corps. Pioneer scored 68.85 in Division I and Blue Stars scored 64.95 in Division II. Lake Erie Regiment topped Division III with 56.05, followed by Bandettes and Capital Sound. Minnesota Brass, Inc. won the senior competition with a score of 75.40.
