European champion Beatrix on the DCE field again
Beatrix Drum & Bugle Corps from Hilversum - The Netherlands will enter the DCE 2005 Championships in Rotterdam. The corps accepted the invitation of Drum Corps Europe, after the Forgemen informed DCE that they are unable to compete in DCE, including the Championships and the DCE contest in Kortrijk - Belgium. This contest has now one open spot.
There is a long reserve list for the DCE 2005 Championships, and Beatrix was the first corps on that list. The corps has decided to accept the invitation of DCE to participate at the event, and they will now be able to defend their 2004 European Open Class title with their 'Hooray for Hollywood' program. With Beatrix, the Open Class top 7 of 2004 will be back in 2005.
The contest in Kortrijk has now one open spot. Corps that are interested in entering this contest can fill out the registration form on the competition page. DCE will handle the registrations on a first come, first serve basis.
