DCE announces date for Championships 2006

Drum Corps Europe has announced the date for the DCE 2006 Championships. The sixth edition of the European drum corps championships will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006.
A venue for the event has not been assigned yet, and will be presented at a later moment. From 2006, the Dutch contests will no longer be run under the umbrella of Drum Corps Europe, but become the responsibility of the newly founded Drum Corps Netherlands (DCN). With this step, Drum Corps Europe will be able to focus on the European activity only.
Dates and venues of the DCN contests are to be announced.
