European drum corps partners meet
On Saturday the 21st of January, European drum corps organisations will meet up in Belgium. The annual meeting is intended to discuss European competition and cooperation and to take a look ahead at the coming year.
Drum Corps Europe is organising the meeting, and the meeting will be attended by Drum Corps Nederland, Drum Corps United Kingdom, Irish Marching Band Association and Marching Music France. Like last year, Showband Calypso from Zwevegem has made its corps home available for the meeting.
This year, the DCE European Music Games and its partner organisations were made up of no less than 14 contest dates with 48 participating corps in five countries: Ireland, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Germany and France. An equal number of contests is on the agenda for next year.
