It was soon clear that a strong wind, which sent my hat disappearing across the back field, was going to give the corps a few problems. But at least the threatening rain clouds were holding off. Almost 30 years after its first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in 1975, Beatrix Drum & Bugle Corps has set off for its sixth trip to the North-American continent. In 1975, the corps traveled to the southwestern part of Canada, where the first encounter with the drum corps phenomenon took place.
