Jubal, Calypso and Johan Friso have topped the first Drum Corps Netherlands contest, last night in Middeleburg. Hundreds of drum corps fans travelled to Middelburg to watch the kick off of the Dutch drum corps season.

Last week Key Poulan and Dan Bryan, the composers of the 2008 show by Millennium Drum & Bugle Corps, came back to Verdello for the second year, to help with 'Inferno di Dante'. Poulan and Bryan spent ten days in Italy.

DCE regrets to announce the cancellation of the UK regional contest to be held at Crystal Palace in London on June 21 2008. This is due to a number of Corps withdrawing from the show in recent weeks, as well as problems with the venue.

Jubal and Jong Jubal will not enter the DCE Power Regional in London, England on June 21st. No accommodation has been found to house the corps during the weekend. The corps states that there are still too many uncertainties, making the risk to take a group of 190 people across the Channel too high.

The Madison Scouts tap into the passionate and industrious rhythms of Latin-American compositions for their 2008 production titled 'La Noche de la Iguana'.
