IPE is moving Belgian contest
Indoor Percussion Europe is moving a contest from Estaimpuis to Tournai. The contest will now be held in the same arena as the IPE European Championships.
The contest on 27th February remains on Belgian soil, but will move by about 10 miles. Erwin van Gemert from IPE has announced that the hall in Tournai has better facilities and opportunities than Estaimpuis. "We welcome the change. There is only little difference in travelling time for the corps, and we now have a much better arena. In the past, not everyone has been as enthusiastic about the Estaimpuis arena."
The IPE European Championships on Saturday 19th March will also take place in Tournai. Ten indoor percussion groups are entering the contest on 27th February, and there will be fourteen at the IPE Championships.
