Championships venue to be announced soon

Within a few days Drum Corps Europe will announce the venue for the DCE 2005 European Championships. After talks with several stadium representatives, negociations are now in the final stage.

The venue has to meet several requirements to host the European Championships (e.g. the stadium needs to have a main stand with a capacity of 2500 seats). Since the event is on a European scale, Drum Corps Europe is looking for a venue that is situated at a central place in Europe.

It is expected that Drum Corps Europe will be able to announce the venue for the 2005 Championships later this week.
