Order of Prelims determined by draw and results

Publish Date: 19 Jul 2007 - 563 views

Like last year, the order of the performances during the DCE Open Class Prelims will be determined by a draw, partly based on the contestants' results last year.

DCE will look firstly at the results obtained at the DCE Championships 2006. Corps who did not participate last year, have been added to the list on the basis of results obtained in their national competition. The 16 corps have subsequently been divided into four groups, as follows (in each group, the teams have been listed alphabetically):

GROUP A - from 10.00 hours
Distant Thunder
Federatieband
Fidele Vogelsanger
Jong-Holland

GROUP B - from approx. 11.10 hours (11.10 am)
6th Hove Scouts
Millennium
Poynton Commodores
Starriders

GROUP C - from approx. 12.40 hours (12.40 pm)
Black Knights
Juliana
Kidsgrove Scouts
Wölper Löwen

GROUP D - from approx. 13.50 hours (1.50 pm)
Beatrix
Jubal
Northern Star
Senators

In order to determine the order as objectively as possible, lots will be drawn within each group. We will shortly be announcing the date for this draw, which you will able to follow via the DCE website.
