The judging panels for the DCE Championships
Drum Corps Europe has announced the judging panels for the DCE European Championships in Kerkrade. The panels consist of judges from five countries.
The Open Class Prelims will be judged by Douglas Caldwell (Music Effect), Paul Cartwright (Visual Effect), Bruce Vrancken (Ensemble Music), Paul Morgan (Field Brass), Marco Harder (Field Percussion), Bob Thomas (Ensemble Visual), Berend-Jan de Vries (Field Visual) and Jim Lauver (Color Guard). For the Open Class Finals the team will be the same as the Prelims team, with the exception of Erik de Vries judging Ensemble Music, and Bruce Vrancken judging the front ensembles (for the Front Ensemble Award).
The judhes for the Cadet Class will be Bob Kanne (Music Effect), Pete Townsend (Visual Effect), Adriaan de Kruiff (Ensemble Music), Douglas Caldwell (Field Brass), Erik de Vries (Field Percussion), Bob Thomas (Ensemble Visual), Jeremy Beesley (Field Visual) and Mark Nicholson (Color Guard).
The Contest Director is Kees Kopmels. Pien Jong and Ann Legon will be the Tabulators.
