Northern Star will take part in the Dordrecht contest
Northern Star Drum & Bugle Corps from Leeds, England will be taking part in the DCE contest in Dordrecht on Saturday September 3rd. This brings the total number of participants in Dordrecht to fifteen.
Northern Star was originally going to provide an exhibition performance. With regard to participating competitors, the contest was full, and there was only room left for a performance in the usual break between the last participant and the Olympic Retreat. As Avalance from Vlaardingen is not taking part in the contest, they have agreed to have their performance moved to the end of the evening programme, allowing Northern Star to take part in the competition.
There is now a total of 15 show performances in the programme for the Dordrecht contest, making this third edition of the contest undoubtedly the largest by far with respect to contestant numbers. There will be corps from the Netherlands, Great Britain, Belgium and France. Information about the Dordrecht show can be found on the dates & places page. Tickets are available in the webshop.
