Again big turnout of units at Burgess Hill
Again a big turnout of units for the contest on Sunday 13th March at Burgess Hill with 21 guards and 4 indoor percussion units in competition at the Southern Knights sponsored Southern Classic show. The show also incorporated the Indoor Percussion Europe UK Regional Contest.
With the guards, Mayflower took 1st Place in the Open and Cadet Class with Southern Knights again taking the honours in both A Class and Junior Class. For indoor percussion, The Company took 1st Place in the Concert Class and The Senators won the International Marching Class. Recaps and scores can be found on the WGUK website.
The final contest of the season takes place next weekend (20th March) in Barnsley before the British Championships event in Sheffield on Saturday 2nd April. Also next weekend is the Indoor Percussion Europe Championships in Belgium with two UK units travelling across to take part in this event.
