DCUK announces registered corps so far
Drum Corps United Kingdom has announced details of the corps that have registered so far for the 2011 season. Up till now fifteen corps have registered in Open Class and Junior Class.
DCUK has confirmed the following registered corps door the 2011 British drum corps season:
Open Class
37th Kingswood - Bristol, Avon
Black Knights - Gravesend, Kent
Cheshire Cadets - Warrington, Cheshire
Kidsgrove Scouts - Kidsgrove, Staffordshire
Nexus - Biggleswade & Bedford, Bedfordshire
Phantom Knights - Warwickshire
Poynton Commodores - Poynton, Cheshire
Revolution Show Corps - Queensbury, West Yorkshire
Spirit Of Coventry - Coventry
Staffordshire Knights - Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire
The 6th - Brighton & Hove, East Sussex
The Company - Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Junior Class
37th Kingswood Cadets - Bristol, Avon
Concord AllStars - Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Kidsgrove Scouts Juniors - Kidsgrove, Staffordshire
The DCUK contest on 3rd July will take place in Grantham (Grantham Town FC), and the contest on 17th July will be hold in Warrington (Victoria Park). Details of the venue for the contest on 4th September will be advised shortly.
