New drum & bugle corps starts up in France
The 'drum corps virus' continues to spread in France. After the success of the junior corps Kadoudal Drum & Bugle Corps, known for their participation at the DCE Championships 2010, a new group of enthusiasts rises to the challenge. The corps will be called Mozaic Drum & Bugle Corps, and has attracted several international instructors. The 'drum corps virus' continues to spread in France. The corps will be called Mozaic Drum & Bugle Corps, and has attracted several international instructors.
Mozaic Drum & Bugle Corps, based in the northern French town of Baisieux, sees 2011 as a 'pre-season', with the necessary preparations for 2012. Instructors have been found, mainly from Belgium. They all have international experience, including DCI, WGI, CGN, DCE, DCN and DCUK. The corps director is Cédric Paques.
On Sunday 15th May, Mozaic is organising an open day, with an official presentation of the corps. Those who are interested can also participate in a public rehearsal that day. In 2012, the first show a should be a definite. For the future, Mozaic plans to participate in national and international competitions.
