Starriders unveil new uniform
The Starriders from Bad Münder have unveiled their new uniform. The new look has been designed by the Dutch artist Peter Franken.
"We have been using the old uniform design for fifteen years, it was time for a change", said corps director Tobias Platow. The new uniform, produced in the United States, consists of black pants, a red and white jacket, a black shako and a white plume.
The investment in the new look has been made possible by several sponsors and individual donators. "But we have not reached the financial goal yet", said Starriders' spokeswoman Sandra Stephan. The corps will continue their fundraisers. A 'thank you' from the Starriders goes to DeMoulin, and Remco Groenewegen from Marchingshop.com. The corps also thanks Peter Franken for his support on the design.
Some details have not been released yet and will be shown at the first contest German contest in Rastede on 27th June.
