Order of performances DCE Prelims

Publish Date: 22 Sep 2008 - 825 views

Drum Corps Europe has announced the order of performances for the Prelims at the DCE European Championships, this Saturday in the Parkstad Limburg Stadium in Kerkrade - The Netherlands.

The order of performance for 2008 DCE Prelims is determined by each corps' highest Open Class score achieved at one of the DCE certified shows during the season, with the corps obtaining the highest score going on last. DCE uses a corps' Prelims score from the previous years DCE Championships for the seedings if the corps doesn't have a DCE certified show in their country.

The above also applies to A-Class scores. New corps will be the first corps scheduled to appear at the Prelims, followed by the A-Class corps, and then the Open Class corps.

Here is the order for the 2008 Prelims:
- Blue Bandits
- Besana
- Calypso
- Poynton Commodores
- 6th Hove Scouts
- Distant Thunder
- FB
- Black Knights
- Wölper Löwen
- Starriders
- Millennium
- Juliana
- Jubal
- Kidsgrove Scouts
- Beatrix
- Senators

Two scores were exactly the same (Beatrix and The Senators). The Senators are the current Open Class champions, and therefore they will go on as the last corps in Prelims.

The presale of tickets will close today at midnight. No tickets yet? You can order them online by clicking here.
