The new show by Starriders Drum & Bugle Corps from Bad Münder has been announced. The programme will be entitled 'Avantgarde'.
As the title suggests, the programme will have avant-garde elements: traditional practices must make way for new, progressive developments. The pillars of the show will be: innovation, provocation, creativity and reflexivity.
The show consists of the tracks 'Fanfare For the Common Man' (Aaron Copland/Emerson, Lake & Palmer), 'Thanks For the Memories' (Fall Out Boy), 'Smile' (Charlie Chaplin), '4:33' (John Cage), 'Peppy & George' (The Artist OST) and 'Path of Destiny' (Soul Calibur OST).
The design team of the Starriders consists of programme coordinator Thorsten Heintz, brass arranger Andy Cartwright (The Company), percussion arranger Henning Homeier, show designer Gareth Skipp and designers for the colour guard Melanie Schiebler, Becki Buckley (Black Knights) and Joel Brogan.
