Actually, he was not planning to march again this summer. "But after receiving a few e-mails from the staff, the drum corps virus returned after the winter break", confesses Descamps. In the end, he decided to add a fourth year at Kidsgrove.
The Belgian is having an excellent time amidst the English. "The friends I have made there will be friends for life", said Descamps. Although it's a long way to travel to the rehearsals each time, he is pretty used to the distance by now. "Cooler in the back seat, DCI on the iPhone, and there I go. It looks like this season will be another great one. Although it's a slightly smaller group, I know how we work. I'm already looking forward to DCE 2013!"
Besides the Belgian, Erwin van Deventer from the Netherlands and Florian Homeyer from Germany are also marching with the Kidsgrove Scouts this year.
