785 issues, 16,670 pages, 47,000 photos. Drum Corps World has brought forth quite a bit of content in the past 40 years. The anniversary is celebrated with an issue containing memories of its four decades.
In the most recent issue, various people in the drum corps world look back at what Drum Corps World has produced from the early 70s, and the role of publisher Steve Vickers in this. Vickers was appointed as the magazine's editor in 1973 and took over the following year. Vickers is still in charge of the now paper-free version.
